In 2008, a serendipitous meeting of minds took place on the Gold Coast, Australia. Record producer and mix engineer Govinda Doyle met Rod Harris, a savant audio electronics technician and HiFi enthusiast, during a chance encounter in a local electronics store.
Between them they have a combined 50 years of experience and accolades in the music and pro audio industry. Some of which include multiple platinum album sales, Aria award winning records, title as the creator of the “Heschl” Integrated Stereo Amplifier and technician for “Studios 301” Australia.
After years in the industry Govinda experienced many common points of dissatisfaction with a lot of the equipment he was using. Rather than modifying them in an attempt to overcome their shortcomings, Rod suggested, and almost challenged Govinda to “just build their own circuits”. Govinda took up that challenge and rolled the dice to bring his ideas to life.
